Story

Hi, My name is Young Song.

I am a founder of Booga Ventures. My respectful business partner in Korea and I had invested our own money to establish Booga Ventures in 2009. We observed today's VC might invest large amount of money to startups but only in the case the business is expecting hyper growth, disruptive in huge market for high return on investment. We understand their hunt for a home-run star player because they are working for large institution LP(Limited Partners)s money in most cases. We want to support a entreprenuer who tries to solve the problem regardless its size of target market. We, as an angel investor, if the project is very meaningful for our next generations or our daily life better, we want to contribute and help this gap in the capital market for passionate entreprenuer.

Since this is small private fund ($5M), I have to run my own business to position as a playing coach and mentor. Currently I am a Chief Executive Officer of ZeroDesktop, Inc., a leading developer of next generation Desktop Virtualization, Cloud Operating System, Cloud Service Brokerage and Cloud-based Parental Control solutions. ZeroDesktop produces several products and services for our next generations. (NComputing computing solutions, DinnerTime Plus app, QualityTime app and so on)

I came in Silicon Valley in 1997. I am putting here with my over 25 years of technology vision and entrepreneurial leadership with a focus on products that deliver life-enhancing value to education, business and consumers. I have founded and operated several start-up ventures with an inherent talent and track record for turning ideas into viable products and sustainable businesses.

As a successful entrepreneur, I have dealt with many investment communities and believes that venture funding needs for startups are changing in today's environment. Entrepreneurs need quick funding decisions, investment flexibility and business execution resources for successful go-to-market strategies. I founded Booga Ventures with this mission in mind to help entrepreneurs reach their goals and their full potential. Since 1998, I founded and operated several startup ventures including eMachines (a pioneer in bringing affordable computing to consumers; IPO in 2000), DoubleSight Display (cost-effective dual display for business and consumers; acquired by a public company in 2004), and NComputing ($60M VC backed; worldwide leader in desktop virtualization).  .

I am also an active volunteer for several non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area including BayArea K-Group, over 4,000 members of Korean American bay area based high tech professionals as an Advisory Board and live with my family in Palo Alto, CA.

Looking forward to seeing your dream come true. Thanks
